Dear WUDAA Members:
This is a long, slow rolling good-bye.
We are writing to clarify and let you know that all WUDAA hosted reunions have been discontinued as of Fall 2021 by a vote of the membership. As of the September 2021 Reunion, WUDAA members voted to dissolve the Association entity. Only website maintenance will continue for 5 years from 2021, all other services and/or functions have ended; this all culminated at the 2021 Reunion & meeting at Tilles Park.
The vote was the culmination of a 5-year time span since the final 2016 Gala, of mailings, email blasts and hard copies of letters & surveys sent asking the membership how long to continue and announcing the five-year time frame that was a result of the vote. So, the website is still active, and classes are certainly encouraged to arrange their own events.

ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program selects 2020 recipients!
The prestigious scholarship created by the International College of Dentists (ICD) and the Washington University Dental Alumni Association (WUDAA) has selected four deserving dental students as this year’s scholarship recipients.
The ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program 2020 awardees are Angela Chiara, Patrick Donnelly, Rebecca Gollub and Tamana Spingher. Each student will receive $2,500 in scholarship funds to aid with dental education costs. Learn more about the four inspiring students.
The 2020 scholarship recipients (L/R): Angela Chiara, Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona; Patrick Donnelly, University of Pittsburgh; Rebecca Gollub, University of Pennsylvania; Tamana Spingher, Howard University.
The ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program was initiated with $127,000 from WUDAA in 2018 and is an ICD Centennial signature event, embodying the spirit of the College's next 100 years as the College approaches its Centennial observance (1920-2020).
The program offers annual scholarships to dental students, demonstrating concern about the high cost of dental education and its negative impact on the career choices of graduating dentists by doing as much as possible for individual students and raising awareness of the serious issue of dental school student debt. The program is now in its second year of awarding qualified students enrolled in a USA dental school. International students are also eligible.
ICD Fellows and WUDAA members can play an active role by submitting nominations and letters of endorsement on behalf of student applicants.
You can help support and grow the ICD-WUDAA Scholarship Program with your tax-deductible contribution today by clicking on the donation button below. Your gift helps us to offer more aid to deserving dental students.
WUDAAA members have continued to contribute and add to the $127,000 original amount in the fund and ICD has increased both the number of recipients AND the amount of the scholarships.
We Did It!
